Maureen Esisi, Blossom Chukwujekwu's ex-wife, has denied teasing his new bride, Winifred Akhuemokhan, after the news of their marriage went viral on Friday.

Esisi, who shared a screenshot of her comment area in which she appeared to be smiling at a fan bodyshaming her ex's new wife, said her answer wasn't intended for the hateful statement.

She remarked, "I know I play too much, but I would never be nasty to anyone, and no one deserves it, especially on their wedding day. After all is said and done, I apologize to the gorgeous bride. I was quite careless. I sincerely apologize."

Esisi's marriage to Chukwujekwu ended years ago, and the actor married  Akhuemokhan on Friday in Benin.
