This is a girl child. Heard a dad once say, "a daughter is worth two sons". It sounded weird, but then, I concur.
I'm a guy, I've seen my sisters say or act things I might not be able to act. I watch them closely. I see them care for my parents more than I would. Not because i don't sincerely care, but I feel they care more.
Growing up, when meals are shared..... we all try to grab our meals, but one of my sisters would ask "what about daddy?" They would contribute or sacrifice theirs. They do this even in marriage. They call and care more.
A lady is one who would bring in her dad to live with her during his old age. The sons might send in cash for a nanny, but the lady would bring him in, even if she lives in a shack with her family. Guys are mostly hunter, but ladies are keepers.
This care goes beyond certain reasoning. It doesn't matter if she is heady, weird, dramatic, loud, educated, short, tall, blind, deaf, and more. They are more compassionate. They miss you more.
I've seen men who despise their wives because they've got no male child. They talked about inheritance and posterity. That's valid, but the girl child fights harder. They hold strong the tradition. They stick more. They uphold the family.
The world has gone beyond those ideologies. All sexes are important. None is higher. All should have an inheritance. None is inferior. Take care of those baby girls. Train them. Sponsor them. Feed them. Make them your frriends. They are your future.
