Mount Fanjing Buddhist temples in China stand on a mountain that is 8,430 high. Atop the temple, you literally walk above the clouds.

You will have to take an 8000-flight of stairs to get to the temples and it will take you more than four hours. 

The temples were built more than 500 years ago. The name "fanjing" is an abbreviation of Fantian Jingtu, meaning "Brahma's pure hand" in Chinese. 

Most Fanjingshan is one of the five sacred Buddhist Mountains of China.
