Success is not a Destination, but a Journey.

This is not a call for laziness, but for a happy life. In life, you will do better than some people, and equally, some people will do better than you too. Life is a journey, not a destination. No one ever had it all. This life? You can't kill yourself.

Success is not a Destination, but a Journey.

"I started my restaurant with two cups of egusi, and a half painter of garri"..........."I finished Ababio Chemistry textbook in one night"........"Aspire to acquire what you desire that you admire, and as you perspire, don't retire, but refire until your admired desire is acquired"..........."I read for 72 hours nonstop, and the only time I stood up was when I used the convenience".....

I call these "fables". Motivational speakers will not kill me. Earlier in life, I would hear these statements and possible fidget. I felt bad because I felt I wasn't doing the right thing, or possibly, my life was going too slow.

In the high school I attended, we had this Doctor that visits the school at interval. Our Principal would let him talk us into "hypes", and almost depression, enforcing his books on us.

Anyone that attended my high school, is already averagely intelligent, and smart.......but his preaching always cause tension, and deep personal reconciliation. You'll see people burn the night candles or start acting up.

Whilst I believe that this helped some students, it never helped me. I never changed anything about the way I go about my boarding house biddings. A huge part of me disliked him...I felt he always rip us off our happiness, with lies.

I saw my friends deep their feet in water, just to wave off sleep. I smiled at them because mumsy taught me that I can't trick nature. Some of my friends boasted of reading 15 hours a day....Wow!!!.....I didn't doubt them, but it didn't change my Press club and Tennis ball extra curriculum activities. I read when I felt my head could sustain impact.

I feel one shouldn't let these people make you feel bad, or that you're not trying. They're all over social media. We are all wired differently. You can't train your kids exactly like your neighbours'. Do the one you know you can do, and manage the rest.

My dear, you're already trying too much. We all must not hustle equally. Don't feel too pressurized about issues you can't do nothing about. In this life, when your time comes, you must manifest.

This is not a call for laziness, but for a happy life. In life, you will do better than some people, and equally, some people will do better than you too. Life is a journey, not a destination. No one ever had it all. This life? You can't kill yourself.
